Introduction

This Ananda Sanga Yoga Therapy Training is an in-depth study about the therapeutic applications of yoga on an individual basis and consists of various specialised modules. Yoga Therapy is the therapeutic use of yoga to help alleviate or manage health concerns or disease conditions. Pre-requisite for this training is a qualification as a Yoga Teacher Level 1 (200-hours). After completion, you are eligible to register as a Level 2 Yoga Teacher (500-hours).

Yoga Therapy is an emerging alternative healing modality, which is becoming increasingly widespread as research continues to highlight the many health benefits of yoga.

Various specialised yoga therapeutic modules are available to equip the Yoga Teacher to offer Yoga Therapy to his/her clients. This Yoga Therapy training also includes basic training in Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of natural health, and teach students Ayurvedic techniques to target specific diseases and doshic imbalances.
