you Ready for a Yoga Intensive?
When considering our Intensive Immersion
program it is really important to ask yourself: "Am I Ready for the Intensity?"
want to ensure that Students are prepared. This program is living, eating, practicing,
learning and breathing yoga from the moment you arrive, until the moment
you leave. You have to be prepared mentally and physically as the days are long
and a well-rested evening is important. Even though we share this with all students
in advance, sometimes students can be overwhelmed by the amount of learning and
focus that is required. It is hard work, hard play, but most importantly, it is
a life changing experience. Although we are practicing and learning in a beautiful
setting, during your training there is no allotted time to explore the area. Your
training days are devoted to helping you become the very best Yoga Teacher you
can be. While we do provide periods of downtime in which you can catch your breath
and process what has been taking place physically and mentally, these times of
reflection will take place on-site. Please plan to explore and discover the country
you are visiting before or after your teacher training.
Your Yoga Teacher Training program will be capped at
12 students. It is small enough to ensure an intimate environment and large enough
to ensure a dynamic, engaging and holistic experience.

Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Yes, this is first program
that all prospective teachers attend. There are opportunities for teachers to
continue on with advanced programming thereafter. When you complete our 200-Hour
Yoga Teacher Training program you will be certified to teach Hatha Yoga Classes.
Age an issue?
Yoga knows no age and it is never too late or too early to
start. All students must be a minimum of 18 years of age to take the program,
but from there on everyone is welcome in our programs. For Advanced Yoga Training,
you will need to have completed your Level 1 (200-hour) training first.
I need my Yoga Mat?
Yes, please bring along your yoga mat and any other
yoga necessities. .
Is this yoga training just for people wanting to
No, absolutely not! Anyone wishing to delve deeper into their

be applied to many aspects of life. Yoga does not just happen on the mat - it
happens in every moment. However, the person needs to complete all the criteria
of the course including the assessments.
Do I need to be fluent in English?
welcome students from all backgrounds and ethnicities. Due to the intensity of
the program, we require all students be fluent in the English language (reading,
writing & speaking).
I Automatically Graduate if I Attend?
No. In order to successfully graduate
from any Training program we offer, you must successfully meet all the graduation
criteria. Unfortunately, it serves no purpose for us to simply pass students who
are not ready or able to teach. It is unfair to you, to the public you may teach
and to the integrity of our programming.
At the beginning of program the criteria
will be clearly laid out as to the requirements for successful graduation. It
is our aim and commitment to ensure students leave our programs ready. If the
rare case this does not happen, the student will not be certified to teach.
there official Evaluations & Examinations?
Yes. All students will complete
1 practicum (teaching a full class), 2 multiple choice assessments, and 1 final
written exam at the centre. Thereafter over six months, monthly multiple choice

do you cover 200 Hours in 3 weeks?
In 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training -
160 hours must be contact hours - where you have access to 1 or both Principle
Teachers. Every hour you are in this training, starting on Day 1 and with the
exception of lunch and dinner, is allocated to this total. Silent meals are inclusive
in your hours as they are teaching periods. During meals that are not silent,
but require Karma Service, the time is also accounted for. This also applies if
Karma Yoga happens outside of meal times. Yoga is about an entire experience.
How you carry yourself at all times, from the time you arrive in the yoga centre
in the morning until the final session of the evening, is part of the entire experience
of Yoga and every one of its elements. Focus on the present, every hour of every
day. Let everything else go and be fully immersed. We
ask that during this program you live your Yoga and that is much more than
simply learning postures. Additional non-contact hours are part of your pre-program
requirements before you start the program. These are in addition to the 180 and
are also accounted for and why they must be successfully completed.
